'Let's Protect Pygmy Sloths' is a fictional one page scroll website to spread awareness for Pygmy Sloths, a critically endangered species.
This website showcases information on Pygmy Sloths, presenting users with documentation on them, the threats they face and what we can do to help these sloths.
This website was created as part of an assignment for my second-year Interaction Design class in 2017. Since it had been a while, I decided to redesign this website.
Looking back at my previous design, I saw some critical areas for improvement, particularly how the content was displayed in the prior website design, as well as the UI design.
I believed that the information displayed in the previous website design was quite bland, and given that it is an information-heavy website, I wanted to experiment with showing the information in different layouts so that people would not lose interest when traversing the website.
With this species on the edge of extinction, I chose a more serious tone for this website, changing the color scheme from a bright to a dark color palette to match the tone.
