Rain or Shine
'Rain or Shine' is an fictional app prototype targeted towards people with an interest in hiking.
This app shows the users weather conditions in their favourite hiking locations, as well as provide hiking tips depending on the weather.

Thought Process
In 2017, as a second-year Interaction Design student, I completed an assignment for this app.
I decided to update this app after a long time.
Looking back over my old design, I saw some major areas for improvement, primarily spacing and design.
Design Process
Looking back at the previous app design, I realized that the bright background could make the text difficult to read at times, so I replaced it with a solid hue.
This also allows the weather icons to stand out more, which is something I wanted to improve with the new design.
I experimented with the icons' inner and drop shadows to make the app more intriguing by making it appear dimensional.
